Our Crew
Shelby Hensler
Shelby has over a decade of experience in the health & fitness industry. As a natural born athlete, her innate passion for movement and play is at the heart of her teaching. She played and coached Division 1 softball at UC Santa Barbara and received her degrees in Exercise Science & Sociology.
Shelby's journey as an athlete and teacher has evolved over the years- from personal training to holistic nutrition, bodywork, yoga, meditation, and somatic movement- that she now empowers students to carve their own path in their healing process.
Her teaching style is passionate and fiery, but also light-hearted and loving. Her mission is to educate, through movement and awareness, the limitless potential of the body, mind, and breath. Shelby and her team hope to promote these principles at her studio, Unbound Collective in Newport Beach, while also supporting the happiness and healing of the surrounding community and beyond.

Donna Cespon Benedict
Donna has been a licensed physical therapist since 1993 and in her own private practice since 1998 as a board certified orthopedic specialist. She has always been interested in wellness and looking at the “big picture” when it comes to the body and its innate ability to heal. Healing is not just about treating an injury. It’s about resolving issues and mechanics that have led to and perpetuated the injury or chronic pain. Treatment includes releasing restrictions in fascia, nerves, blood and lymph vessels, viscera, muscles and joints. Re-education of the tissues with therapeutic exercises must follow and must be adapted into everyday living.
Healing must also include calming the nervous system when the body has experienced traumas. Furthermore, healing is about prevention of further injuries and inflammation and continually improving or maintaining good health. Optimal health, like good joint mechanics and ideal posture is about balance.
I am proud to be a part of the journey of Unbound Collective and the harmony that this variety of healing practitioners strives to achieve within our group, our clientele, and our community. My professional goals are to bring awareness to alternative methods of healing that can bring a healthy union of the “eastern and western” methods of treatment.
